The MIT Student Veterans Association (SVA) is composed of a majority of MIT students but all are welcome and encouraged to join.This includes active duty, reserve, national guard, retired, veterans, international, and dependents from all branches of service - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force, and Coast Guard. Our goals are to ensure service member academic success and increase veteran representation at MIT. We actively seek facets of student veteran life that can be improved and collaboratively create direct, actionable solutions. We also host frequent social events, local advocacy opportunities, and professional workshops.
